State of Florida

My commission is (HH312452) and

As a public notary for the State of Florida, the maximum fees a notary may charge for performing a notarial act*
are set by the State of Florida and are as follows:

FL_NotaryRates_2022.jpg Current rates charged for notarial acts

* Each signature notarized is a "notarial act" as defined by the State of Florida which means that if two people appear before the Notary and both sign a document, it is counted as two notarial acts. I count them as one act and charge a flat rate as noted above.

Travel Fees: Per the State of Florida, notaries are not permitted to charge more than the schedule of fees as established by the State of Florida (table above) but they are allowed to charge for other services, such as travel fees/tolls. Within Hillsborough and Pasco Counties, my travel fee is $20. For travel to Pinellas County, my travel fee is $30. Please feel free to call for travel fees to other counties.

Wedding Poem for the Bride

"Something old, something new.

Something borrowed, something blue,

A penny in his pocket, and a silver sixpence in her shoe."

Do you know the origin of the wedding poem? The earliest known recorded reference of this poem comes from Lancashire England in 1871 as printed in the St James' Magazine. There are numerous variations and superstitions around what each item represents.

Something old = offers protection

Something new = offers optimism for the future

Something borrowed = indicates good luck

Something blue = symbolizes fidelity

Penny & sixpence = wishes for prosperity

Matching coins for the ceremony can be loaned if requested (British penny and silver sixpence).
